This contract is entered on Date of Contract between Purchaser and Confettidolz Ragdoll
Cattery (Cheryl Williams, breeder).
This kitten, Kitten Name, Kitten Color, born on Birth date. The Mother of Kitten and the Father
of Kitten. This Ragdoll kitten has had its first and second vaccination of 3-in-1. Confettidolz
recommends that you give the kitten its annual booster vaccination of 3-in-1 in Date.
Thereafter, an annual booster is recommended. Ragdolls are NOT to be given the Feline
Leukemia Vaccine as they may contract the disease if it is given. A KILLED 3-in-1
vaccine should be given, if possible. You may also use a MODIFIED LIVE vaccine, if
that is the only choice available. Please DO NOT EVER use any live vaccine on your
Ragdoll. Please have your veterinarian give these vaccines in their hips if at all
possible. Also, please DO NOT EVER give the Bordetella vaccine to your kitten. My
veterinarian gives the 3-in-1 in the left hip and the rabies in the right hip. I NEVER get
these vaccinations at the same time…usually waiting at least a week between shots.
A killed vaccine MUST be used. Please DO NOT EVER use any live vaccine on your
Ragdoll. Confettidolz recommends the Rabies vaccination be given at a different time
than any other vaccinations or medications.
We recommend you take your new kitten to your private veterinarian (at your
expense) for a general checkup within 72 hours of sale. If the kitten is found to have any
genetic problems, your money will be refunded upon the kittens return to Confettidolz. If the
kitten should die within one year of birth from a known genetic problem, or if a kitten should die
from cardiomyopathy within one year of birth, an autopsy by a qualified veterinarian showing
cause of death to be genetic is required as official notification to Confettidolz Ragdoll Cattery.
This notification must be in written form. Upon notification and upon us contacting the person
doing the necropsy, you will be refunded your full purchase price or you can choose to receive
another kitten.
Confettidolz also states if you have this kitten DECLAWED, your contract is null and
void. We will gladly teach you how to properly take care of your kitten’s claws. You should
purchase several scratching posts, these need not be large or elaborate, and place them in any
area the kitten seems to prefer. In addition, another ideal training tool is the turbo-scratcher (a
round track & ball with the cardboard scratching material in the center). Refills are available,
too. This item can be purchased at discount stores (Wal-Mart) for under $12; my cats/kittens all
really love to play with them.
If your Ragdoll should ever require surgery or anesthetizing for any reason, please
ONLY use ISOFLOURINE (a gas). Other anesthesia is NOT recommended. If your
veterinarian has questions about this, please ask them to contact me at 903-693-2254
(daytime work number). I will be happy to visit with them. The health guarantee on
your kitten is null and void if any other anesthesia is used on this Ragdoll kitten.
You have chosen a fine, healthy kitten…well socialized and happy. Confettidolz hopes you have
many years of joy with this kitten. Ragdolls are indeed special.
This kitten has been eating mostly Science Diet Kitten Formula. It is recommended that
you always feed a high quality dry food to your Ragdoll. If you like, you can give some moist
food as an OCCASIONAL treat, but it’s best to stick with the dry food as it helps to keep their
teeth free of tartar. I recommend you keep your Confettidolz Ragdoll on kitten food until at
least 2 years of age and possibly longer. These cats are slow growing and they need the added
nutrition in kitten food while they are growing. After then, you can gradually change over to an
adult cat food. Any changes in food should be done over a gradual 10-day or longer period to
not upset their systems. It is not recommended to just go from one food to another as that can
really upset their systems and can cause diarrhea and upset stomach.
This Kitten Has or Has Not Been Neutered. Registration papers will be withheld until written
proof of neutering is received.
If this Ragdoll kitten must be re-homed for any reason, Confettidolz retains the right of
first refusal. Please notify me as soon as possible so I can help in re-homing. In addition, any
Confettidolz kitten will NEVER be sold to a pet shop or kitten mill under any circumstances.
